SPIRITUAL TRUTH v/s SCIENTIFIC TRUTH

Humans are seekers of both scientific truth and spiritual truth, but there is much confusion and conflict about the place of each. The spiritual is, necessarily, non-rational (not the same as irrational), subjective, personal and private. Science, on the other hand, is rational, objective and must be open to public inspection and verification. Chaos comes from mixing the spiritual and scientific which inevitably leads to bad science, bad religion, and the irrationality of "man's inhumanity to man".

The CIRCLE OF THE TWO TRUTHS provides a framework for the pursuit of spiritual truth and scientific truth while maintaining the balance between the two which is necessary for the development of, not only the whole person, but also, peaceful and progressive society in the next millennium.
